NEXT WINDOW

Two reasons your email never gets read

Neither of them is about your athlete.

ONE

A mail merge is either forgettable or filtered

Recruiting services push your email through a mass merge, from their domain, to a list you never see. The template reads like the four hundred other templated emails in that inbox, so it goes nowhere. Or the send pattern trips a spam filter and the coach never sees it at all.

TWO

Miss the window and it is buried for good

A college coach does email in bursts, between training, travel, film and recruiting calls. An email that arrives outside one of those bursts is under forty more by the time they look. It is not rejected. It is never found again.

A COACH'S FRIDAY
7 AMON THE BUS11 PM

How it works

STEP ONE

Personalize your College Search

Search all 200 programs by conference, academics, roster shape, or who is thin at your position. Star the ones worth an email.

STEP TWO

Plan and pin programs to get notifications

Every away trip is a loop, out and back, with two windows in it. Pin a program and we tell you when its coach is on the bus.

STEP THREE

Manage and track your prompts and comms in the Coach Outreach Dashboard

One tap opens a draft addressed to the coach, with your brief on top of it for the read-through. Who you wrote to, when, and what came back, all in one place.

You own the thread, from the first word

A recruiting service sends through its own system, because the contact list is the thing you are renting. You never see the address, you never own the thread, and the coach sees the service's domain instead of your kid's name.

BusLoop does the hard half and none of the renting. A staff page lists six people; we name the ones worth writing to, what each of them does, and the address the school publishes for them, with a link back to the page it came from. You write from your own email. Nothing passes through us in either direction, and no reply ever reaches us.

Every address here is the one Pittsburgh publishes on its own staff page, which is linked from this card if you want to check it. You write from your own email. Nothing routes through us.

One tap opens the draft, already written

BusLoop writes the draft and puts a brief at the top of it: the program, the loop and the opponent, the venue and kickoff, what their roster is short of at your position, and the minute you are sending. That part is for you. Read it, check it against what you know, and if something looks wrong, skip the school. The brief comes off by itself on the way out, so it is never in the message the coach opens. Your email app opens addressed to the person you picked, with the subject set and your blanks left to fill.

Your highlight link is already in it too, whichever one you switched on in Setup. Write it yourself from there, or use Write them with an assistant on the Emails screen, which builds a prompt you can paste into Claude. The blank is the only thing left to fill.

Coach Marek,

PITTSBURGH · ATLANTIC COAST AT WEST VIRGINIA · RETURN OF THE LOOP DICK DLESK SOCCER STADIUM · KICKOFF 7:00 PM GK: 1 RETURNING, 1 GRADUATING, MEDIAN 3 For you, not for the coach. Comes off by itself.

I am a 2027 goalkeeper at Northern Valley SC. Pittsburgh is high on my list, and name one thing you have actually seen this team do well.

Keeper highlights: hudl.com/v/ellie-whitfield-gk

A blank left in it, every time. A message with nothing left to fill is a mass mailing with extra steps.

Some programs do not need your position

A program with four keepers coming back is not looking for a keeper. We publish the count next to the label so you can open the public roster and check us.

165 of 200 programs have depth data. The other 35 are left out of the filter rather than counted as open.

What this is not

Four things BusLoop does not do, listed here because every other recruiting product does them.

Nothing routes through us

We do not send. BusLoop fills the draft in your own mail app and stops there. You press send yourself, so the reply comes back to you and never touches us.

It holds almost nothing

Your account is your email address and a password you choose. Your athlete's details and your schools stay in your browser.

It will not finish it for you

A blank is left in every draft. Nobody else knows why your kid wants that school, and a coach can tell when nobody did.

No claim we cannot back

Every number here comes with what it is out of. Where we have no data, we say so.

Pay for the season you are in

Every pass is the whole board for the season it covers. The fall season is the big one, August through early November, when almost every road trip happens. The spring season is smaller by design, because programs are allowed six games in the off season and those schedules are not published until late January. Buy both together and it is five dollars less. Nothing is held back from the cheaper pass, because a product this small has nothing worth holding back.
